“I am a Half Okanagan Indigenous,
Half Caucasian man from the Syilx
(Okanagan) Territory in Penticton, BC.
My passion comes from my story as a
youth myself. I am now dedicating my
life to support youth to give my life
meaning and bring much joy.”

“As a young Filipino immigrant, I
struggled to find a strong sense of
community and cultural identity.
While completing my degree in
Criminology, I became very interested
in working with youth.”

“Growing up in Northern California,
my childhood was defined by the
‘American Dream.’ Upon arriving in
Canada, I encountered different
perspectives and became passionate
about creating space with youth to
negotiate new understandings
and positive realities.”
